Video Suite Offers High Tech Meetings

Isle News, 26 August 2009 – Manx Telecom has launched a video conferencing suite which can be hired by anyone wishing to take part in high quality video meetings with others anywhere in the world.

The suite, based at Manx Telecom’s Headquarters on the Isle of Man Business Park, offers a specially fitted out conference room equipped with the latest Tandberg Video Conferencing technology.

There is a minimum charge of just £90 for the first hour, thereafter the video suite can be hired for £45 per half hour, plus call charges, and up to 8 people can use the room at any one time. The suite can also be used for meetings outside of normal office hours (additional charges apply).

“Video conferencing has really moved on in recent years,” says Manx Telecom Product Manager, Andy Pirie, “our new suite features the state of the art Tandberg conferencing equipment which makes video conferencing easy and delivers images and audio of the highest quality. These days, every company needs to save costs and do their bit for the environment, and video conferencing helps them do just that, cutting both travel costs and a company’s carbon footprint.”
