Unlimited Calls or Texts for Manx Telecom Mobile Customers

Isle News, 19 May 2009 – In a first for the Isle of Man, Manx Telecom is providing customers with unlimited call minutes or texts between Manx Telecom mobiles while on their network. The new deals come into effect from May 18th.

It’s an unprecedented step by the Island’s premier telecommunications company, because as most mobile users are on the Manx Telecom network, unlimited call minutes or texts represent great value for money.

“Mobile phone users will never have seen anything quite like this before on the Island,“ said Manx Telecom Marcomms Manager Voirrey Barron. “We are delighted to be breaking new ground in terms of customer value. Unlimited will provide peace of mind to many customers and businesses that want more control of their budget,” she said. “It is entirely up to each individual customer whether they choose unlimited calls or unlimited texts as part of the new deal,” she said. “Unlimited doesn’t just apply to texts but pictures and video messages (MMS) as well and unlimited calls also include video calls on the island’s only 3G network. Unlimited will really allow the Island community to interact like never before.”

The Unlimited packages are available in 12, 18 or 24 month options for calls or texts made between Manx Telecom customers’ mobiles on Island. All packages still come with a flexible bundle of minutes and messages for other types of calls and benefit from all of the other great discounts available on existing tariffs.

“Unlimited deals are available to customers in and outside of a pay monthly contract and may also be an attractive option for many of our pay as you go customers,” added Voirrey.
