SURE APPOINTS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Isle News, 30 September 2009 – Sure has appointed Gavin Price as Business Development Director for Jersey and the Isle of Man, with responsibility of supporting the company’s enterprise and business customers.

Mr Price, who manages a business sales team of eight across Jersey and the Isle of Man, has spent 11 years working in sales and marketing across retail, e-commerce and telecommunications, most recently with Sure in Guernsey, where he was recognised as one of the top 50 sales people across the Cable & Wireless International Business Group.

Mr Price holds a BSc in Tourism with Marketing from Bucks New University. He is currently completing a Masters in Business Administration from Lancaster University.

Mr Price commented: “Delivering excellent service to new and existing customers is paramount to our business success. One of my key strengths is the ability to develop trusting and long term client partnerships, and I look forward to bringing that strength to my new position. We must ensure we listen to, and understand our customers, so we can turn their requirements into deliverable solutions. By doing this across our businesses, we can deliver a unique value proposition to customers who also have a footprint in our Jersey and Guernsey locations, something our competitors cannot do.”

It is particularly pleasing that he has come from elsewhere within Sure as he understands the business extremely well.
