RAF VALLEY SEARCH AND RESCUE HELICOPTER TEAM JOINT EXERCISE WITH ISLE OF MAN COASTGUARD AND RNLI
Isle News, 14 July 2009 – The RAF Valley Search and Rescue Helicopter Team is visiting the Isle of Man this week for three days of joint land and sea exercises with Isle of Man Coastguard and the RNLI Lifeboat teams.
Five exercises are taking place, starting today (Monday), with both land and sea exercises accompanied by free ground briefing sessions. Services including the Police, Fire, Ambulance and Civil Defence have also been invited to attend. This is an all-Island exercise using assets from both North and South Coastguard Sectors.
The exercise programme may be subject to change or cancellation at any time should operational restrictions apply.
