Mourant du Feu & Jeune Once Again Named Jersey’s Law Firm of the Year

Jon RigbyIsle News, 13 July 2009 – Mourant du Feu & Jeune has been named Jersey Law Firm of the Year for the second year in succession in the Who’s Who Legal Awards.

Who’s Who Legal receives thousands of nominations from clients and private practice professionals to identify the leading firms in 50 countries and five US states.

Editor in chief Callum Campbell, said: “In a highly competitive field, receiving the Who’s Who Legal Law Firm of the Year Award for Jersey for a second time is an outstanding achievement. The consistently positive feedback we received recognises the firm’s continuing and exceptional individual and collective talent in this jurisdiction, and we have no hesitation in once again declaring Mourant du Feu & Jeune the leading firm in Jersey.”

Who’s Who Legal lists only the leading practitioners in each field, based exclusively on the findings of an independent six-month research process. Partners from the firm received sufficient nominations from their clients and peers to be listed six times across four practice areas in the publication. Mourant du Feu & Jeune has more lawyers included than any other firm in Jersey.

Mourant du Feu & Jeune’s Managing Partner, Jonathan Rigby, said: “I am delighted that Mourant du Feu & Jeune has been awarded Law Firm of the Year for Jersey 2009 by Who’s Who Legal. It is particularly pleasing that the award has been granted in recognition of the firm’s exceptional individual and collective talent. This award also recognises the seamless service our Jersey lawyers provide for our clients across Mourant du Feu & Jeune’s offices in the key financial centres of Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman and London.”

The winners were formally announced in The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers 2009, a compendium edition of all the individual Who’s Who Legal publications covering 30 practice areas and over 100 countries.
