MANX TELECOM UNVEILS NEW WEBSITE

Manx TelecomIsle News, 20 March 2009 – The 50,000 plus visitors who regularly visit Manx Telecom’s website each month now have something new to look at!

The island’s leading telecommunications provider has just gone live with its new website – with further enhancements earmarked for the weeks and months ahead.

The improved site is more interactive, customer friendly, easily navigated and contains a wealth of fresh information.

According to Manx Telecom’s Marcomms Manager, Voirrey Corkill, the aim has been to create an enhanced online experience for both on-island and off-island customers. “We have a broad range of services and information to share with our customers and visitors will immediately see that the site has a much more user-friendly and Manx feel to it,” she said.

“And whilst the old site was consistently attracting a substantial amount of visitors, because our range of products and services is now so diverse and far-reaching, we wanted the new website to encourage more of our customers to feel comfortable interacting with Manx Telecom on-line.

“For example, we hope more people will now be attracted to the convenience of managing their accounts electronically, using the My Account feature which enables customers to see their bill online, opt for ebilling and converge their fixed and mobile accounts to benefit from free calls.

“Also, the enhanced Business Solutions section provides a better online environment for our Business customers with a new, dedicated Hosting section giving greater prominence to the Island’s only purpose built data centre,” Voirrey added.

For customers looking for general help and advice, the site contains a new and dedicated Support section, complete with a very handy Frequently Asked Questions option.

Meanwhile, Manx Telecom has also launched a new online business directory www.directory.im which replaces the old ‘JustAsk’ website.

“We expect to be adding additional online features in the near future,” added Voirrey.  “As always, we are committed to providing the highest standards of service both off and on-line, so we would welcome as much customer feedback as possible about the new online developments.”
