Local commercial property surveying practice expands with acquisition
Isle News, 4 September 2009 – Local commercial property agents, Buckley & Company Limited have expanded to become the largest professional property services provider in Jersey following the company’s acquisition of professional residential property managers, surveyors and agents, Voisin-Hunter Limited.
The move will grant both Buckley & Company, an Alliance Partner of global real estate brokers and consultants Cushman and Wakefield, and Voisin-Hunter the ability to offer clients both a comprehensive residential and commercial property management service in addition to their existing service lines including agency, investment, valuation, rent review and development consultancy.
Whilst continuing to trade independently the two companies will work closely with one another. With nineteen staff, including six Chartered Surveyors, across the group the organisation now boasts the most professionally qualified and experienced property team in Jersey. Three additional team members are also undertaking professional qualifications.
Simon Buckley, Managing Director, Buckley & Company, said:
“I am delighted to announce that Buckley & Company and Voisin-Hunter have joined forces. This move will enable us to offer clients a comprehensive range of services that is second to none across both the residential and commercial sectors. Our new combined strength in depth is considerably greater than that afforded by the two previously unlinked businesses. This move will allow us to leverage off the combined skill sets of the two entities for the benefit of our clients.
We are also committed to developing our team and currently have three staff undertaking professional surveying qualifications. As the companies grow we hope that we can offer other young, local people the opportunity to develop their careers with us.”
