ISLE OF MAN FESTIVAL’S SPONSORS ANNOUNCED
Isle News, 23 June 2009 – The Isle of Man Queenie Festival is delighted to welcome Nationwide International as this year’s Gold Sponsor. The Queenie Festival which runs from 29th June to 5th July this year is a week long programme of events such as live music, kayaking, sailing, diving, beach barbeques and more, all aimed at celebrating the sea and the Manx Queenie in particular.
Nationwide International Chairman Carl Gandy said: ‘This year Nationwide International is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Isle of Man operation. We are therefore especially pleased to have this unique opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the local community and the Island’s rich heritage by sponsoring the Isle of Man Queenie Festival.’
Tim Croft, organiser of the Isle of Man Queenie Festival said, “Without the support of local businesses, like Nationwide International, events like this would not be able to succeed. We are extremely grateful for the support given to us by our sponsors, which has allowed us to put on a fantastic calendar of events for this year’s Queenie Festival.
This year’s Festival is considerably larger than last year and we would like to thank EMCS Group, Falcon Hotel, Tower Insurance, Capital Select, Sure and Nationwide International for their kind sponsorship.”

Full details of all the events together with competitions, exclusive offers and a chance to win Kaiser Chiefs tickets are included in the official Queenie Festival Programme which is on sale in retailers around the Island.
