BUSINESS SUPPORT RAISES RECORD AMOUNTS AT IOMCC GOLF DAY

Isle News, 6 July 2009 – Pictured, members of the Fairbairn Private Bank team – Gordon Crowe, Andrew Nicholson, Colin Rushmore and Basil Bielich – overall winners of The Isle of Man Children Centre’s Annual Golf Day, receiving their prizes from IOMCC Chairman Paul Cashin. In a close fought competition, last year’s winners OMS finished runners-up.

The Day was widely supported by the Island’s business community with a record entry of 19 teams taking part in the event at Mount Murray, which raised a bumper £4000 for the IOMCC.

MAC Financial sponsored the Nearest the Pin competition along with all the cool boxes and their contents positioned around the course whilst Zurich sponsored The Longest Drive Competition.

“We had a great turnout and I’d like to thank all the local companies who supported and contributed hugely to the success of the event. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.” said Mr Cashin.
