IFM Group makes a series of promotions and appointments

Douglas Isle of Man (Isle-News) 3 February 2009. IFM Group in Jersey has made a series of further managerial appointments to add to the experience and capabilities of the firm.

Chris Lanyon, Dawn Greenwood and Sharon Cushion have all joined IFM Group.

Chris, a qualified accountant, who has more than 11 years’ experience in the finance industry most recently at HSBC, joins as Accounts Manager. Dawn, who has been appointed Group Financial Controller, qualified as an accountant with Deloittes in Jersey in 1996 and most recently worked at Scotia Gas Networks in the UK. Sharon, who has been appointed Compliance Officer, has more than 20 years’ experience in the finance industry, mainly in fiduciary and private wealth in Jersey and the Cayman Islands.

Additionally, current employees, Julie Gavin, Rebecca Murphy and Siobhán Tobin, have also been appointed to more senior roles. Julie, who has worked for IFM Group for more than 20 years, becomes a Senior Manager in the private clients’ section. Rebecca, a qualified accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, is appointed as Manager, Corporate Services and as such will be responsible for managing our existing corporate client structures and assisting in the expansion of the business. Siobhán, who has worked at IFM for nearly 15 years is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, has become a Senior Manager with specific responsibilities for the development of United Ventures Limited, IFM’S International trading platform.

Heather Doull, Director of IFM’s Jersey operation, commented “During the past six months IFM Group has implemented various changes to its structure to meet business growth and to ensure we continue to offer bespoke services to our clients. These appointments of highly qualified and experienced staff add to the strength in depth we can offer to our clients whilst we continue to expand our capabilities and international reach.”
