£1,000 RAISED FOR ISLE OF MAN SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT
Isle News, 28 July 2009 – A team from Moore Stephens Isle of Man, leading providers of accounting, consulting, fiduciary, yachting and aviation services collectively completed 99 miles in the Parish Walk raising £1,000 for Noble’s Hospital Special Care Baby Unit. The team consisted of Dawn Webb, director of assurance for Moore Stephens Chartered Accountants and a director of Moore Stephens Consulting Limited with teammates Sue Moore, Fiona Moore and Zoe Shepherd.
The Noble’s Hospital Special Care Baby Unit team help parents cope with the trauma of a premature birth.
Pauline Smith, senior neonatal staff nurse at the Special Care Baby Unit said, “On behalf of the team, I would like to thank the Moore Stephens Isle of Man team for all their hard work and dedication in completing the walk and raising vital funds for us. The money raised by Moore Stephens Isle of Man will go towards a new fibre optic intubation system for the ward.”
Speaking about the team’s achievement, Clive Dixon, resident partner for Moore Stephens Isle of Man said, “I think I can speak on behalf of the whole company, we’re really impressed with what they achieved; a lot of hard work and determination went into their training and the money raised will go towards a very worthy cause which we are only too happy to support.”
